JUST because your dog cannot find its way to the end of a leash does not means it is stupid. Could be you're not teaching it right. Research shows many dogs are right- or left-pawed; the rest are more erratic (or just less dogmatic). Ignore the bias, and training may be just hit and mits - no matter how dogged the effort. To keep Phydeau on his toes, you have to know which toes he favours. Get it right (or left) and a walk in the park will be, yes, a walk in the park.
